The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an Australian construction firm. The business has a passion for collaborating and community engagement, aiming to empower individuals and drive positive change in the industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Officer to join the business and assist with establishing policies and procedures on their new accounting system, Xero. This role is well suited to an experienced Finance Officer, looking to work in a close-knight and collaborative team.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Day to day accounting and administrative functions
- Reconciling of credit card transactions to receipts
- Processing supplier invoices into the Xero Accounting system
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable functions
- Data entry to transfer information from existing accounting system to Xero
- Assistance to the Finance Manager as and where required
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- You have 5+ years experience in an accounts officer/finance officer role (AP/AR)
- Ideally, you will have experience working with Xero
- A high attention to detail, strong work ethic as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and operate efficiently in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
