The Opportunity 

A brilliant opportunity for a talented and high-performing Accountant to join an industry leading financial services company. You will be joining a first-in-class finance function who place a large emphasis on career growth through their collegiate working culture.

This Financial Accountant opportunity will encompass broad and varied duties including financial reporting, management accounting, and tax responsibilities. With excellent exposure to the senior finance executives, this role will suit an experienced Accountant in the financial services industry, or an Accountant in the Business Services or Audit function of a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm with 2+ years of experience.

The Challenge

Reporting to Finance Manager, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of financial reports and providing of relevant performance commentary to the business leaders
• Preparation of management reporting and analysis
• Month-end and financial reporting tasks
• Preparation of P&L and cash flow forecasts
• Support monthly and quarterly management accounting process through regular updates of budgets/financial forecasts
• Prepare for review quarterly BAS returns, and annual income tax returns
• Liaise with external auditors and taxation advisors

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Perhaps you are CA/CPA qualified with 2-4 years’ experience in an industry accounting position, ideally for a financial services company
• Possibly, you have 2-4 years’ experience in the Audit or Business Services team of a leading chartered accounting firm and are now looking for your first move out into industry 
• You are an analytically strong with good attention for detail
• You work effectively under tight frames and have excellent communication skills
• You are looking to embrace a culture of innovation, change and growth
