The Challenge
As the Group Planning Manager you will support the executive leadership team to ensure the business receives a clear and transparent view of company performance. The position will offer direct workings with the CFO and business segment heads to drive improvements and deliver long-term strategic planning. This is a brilliant opportunity for a finance executive who wants to make decisions in a fast-paced, progressive environment and be part of a leadership team delivering on a clear strategic plan.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Lead and drive the 3 year corporate planning process
- Ownership of the annual budget process and management of the end to end budgeting cycle and forecasting process involving partnering with cross functional finance and non-finance executives
- Accountable for the board and executive budget presentations
- Supporting senior management with in-depth analysis and understanding of business drivers
- Work closely with the strategy team to deliver the corporate plan
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support the executive leadership team
- Planning lead for divisions cash flow financial modelling
- Ownership of working capital forecasts and analysis
- Providing support and guidance to the investor relations function and contributing to the market analysis and review process
- Provide analytical support for operational and strategic finance and business projects
The Expertise

- CA qualified most likely you commenced your career at PWC, KPMG, Deloitte or EY before your successful transition into industry
- You possess superior commercial acumen and excellent analytical skills
- It is a given you have significant experience in an ASX Group or Regional FP&A function
- Superior corporate planning and group budgeting and forecasting experience
- Experience presenting to an ELT and board
- Proven process improvement pedigree with a track record of enhancing planning processes and systems
- High achievement drive, your personality is energetic and you enjoy working within dynamic, fast paced cultures
- Outstanding communication skills to influence and partner the executive leadership team
