The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Project Officer to join a well-established and fast-paced retail organisation on a 3-month contract basis.

Working alongside the payroll team, you’ll play a key role in supporting a payroll remediation project as well as assisting with payroll administration. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on processing experience within a leading retail business.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Payroll Manager your key responsibilities will include the following:

• Supporting the payroll team with a remediation project, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
• Assisting in the preparation and processing of payroll 
• Maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring accuracy across systems
• Responding to employee queries regarding pay, leave, and entitlements in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborating with HR and wider finance teams 

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• 1-3+ years of experience in payroll administration 
• Strong Excel skills are key 
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Immediately available
