The Opportunity

Due to the businesses continued success throughout the last financial year, the senior finance team are looking for an experienced Group Reporting Lead to assist with their year-end reporting period 

This is an excellent opportunity to join top performing ASX company that are known to be one of the best companies to work for in Melbourne. While working with an impressive leadership team, you will play an integral role in the Group Reporting function and add value to upcoming finance projects.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager this position plays a key role in supporting various divisions across the business, your key responsibilities will include:

• Acquisition accounting for small to medium size acquisitions, including initial business combination accounting, purchase price allocation, earnout calculations
• IFRS15 assessment for major contracts/revenue streams/contract assets
• Assistance in preparation of Annual Report additional disclosures
• Manage audit queries on the above
• Draft Group accounting policies
• Step acquisition
• SaaS reviews of IT projects
• Process improvements
• Assistance with the compilation of commentary and analysis of Group’s performance and financial positions presented to the Audit Committee

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• You are a Chartered or CPA qualified Accountant
• You have strong technical accounting skills. Our client need Group consolidation experience in a large, complex corporate.
• Strong communication skills and have proven experience of working with senior stakeholders
