The Opportunity
 
Our client is a privately owned high growth success story. They are a clear leader in their segment of the market and have been growing both via acquisition and organic growth recently. They have a strong reputation, and are in the process of future proofing their finance team as they expect to continue on this journey. Due to this growth, this opportunity offers long term career growth and development. 

This role will assist the team in this exciting period of growth. With lots of process improvements and system automations upcoming, they are looking for an energetic and take-charge Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a broad role, on one hand assisting the Financial Controller with month end duties and systems improvements; while still holding down the fort in the transactional space, ensuring the timely processing of accounts payables and bank reconciliations, while more automations are underway. You will join a close knit team with a supportive and diverse culture. 

The Challenge

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Processing month-end closing activities (GL maintenance, journals etc) 
• Assisting the broader finance team with the yearly audit 
• Trouble shooting and processing of invoices, in particular complex multi-currency ones. 
• Processing of bank reconciliations, stock adjustments, insurance claims and other ad hoc tasks. 
• Assisting the Financial Controller and CFO as required.
• Assisting with other ad-hoc finance projects as required. This might include systems and technology improvements. 

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Full CA/CPA qualification with at least 4 years experience. You might have started your career in professional services, or a similar industry role. 
• A systems savvy skill set and process improvement mindset 
• High levels of initiative and the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
