The Opportunity
Our client is a highly regarded Melbourne-based company in the utilities sector. They are going through an exciting period of growth and innovation, making it an ideal time to join the business. As part of their ongoing investment in people, we are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor – Digital (IT) for a newly created role. It’s a great time to join as they are seeking to grow their internal audit function, so this is a role where you can really make your mark!
The Challenge
Key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to build the assurance map and audit universe for the Strategic Internal Audit Plan
- Planning, executing and documenting IT audit engagements in accordance with established audit methodologies
- Assessing the design and effectiveness of IT controls across various systems and processes, including infrastructure, applications, and data management
- Identifying areas of risk and providing recommendations for improving IT processes and controls
- Manage co-sourced audits with third-party service providers, ensuring alignment with audit objectives and quality standards
- Employing data analytics techniques to enhance the audit process
The Expertise
Please consider applying for this position if you meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Likely professional such as CISA, CISSP or equivalent
- Likely you have a background in professional services or a large corporate, and have had exposure to a wide range of audits which includes Cyber Security, IT General Controls, large scale IT project audits
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organisation.
